It is easy to sing “ I lay it all down” when I have everything I need or want. It is when those things are not available that we realize what depending on the Lord means.
I once met a lady in the interior of Mexico. She had prayed for her husband. He died, and then, she prayed until he raised up from the dead! Some people in our group asked her how she had done that? She said “there were no doctors, no hospitals, no options so I had to believe in the Lord!”
I truly believe we are coming into a time that you are going to need to know how to touch God.
17 “You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”Revelation 3:17-20.
The Lord is willing to teach us how to lean on Him if we will just listen to Him. The scripture above tells us that we are naked and poor even if we have everything . We are lacking in our spiritual life, but when we seek Him, He will open up to us! There is that word again that I have been blogging about, “seek Him”. When we seek Him we will find Him. We can achieve a relationship with the Lord where we learn to walk by faith! Where we take back the ground Satan has stolen! In case you have any questions concerning the out come of life, we win! There is no battle between God and Satan. There is only a battle between you and Satan. Satan is a fallen angel, not a God. Isaiah 45:5 says, “ I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me.”
