While floating on the Sea of Galilee the story of Peter stepping out of the boat comes alive. Yes, he sank but at least he had the guts to try! I would like to believe that I could get out of the boat.
Matthew 4:19 says “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Are you willing? Will you follow him even if it is hard? It’s the part where he says “I will make you”, that gets most of us. We like being Christian until we are required to be “Christ like”. Let him mold you. Let him use you. Be the one who gets out of the boat. Follow him. Do what he asks, and become a fisher of men.
