“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees.” Matt. 3:10a NKJV
I stepped into the war room Sunday morning and I heard this phrase on the wind of the Holy Spirit, “The ax is laid to the root of the trees.”
We are seeing what this looks like in real-time going on in our nation. The DOGE is going into one governmental entity after another and the Ax is being laid to the root of the trees. For some this is a scary thing to watch, as I’ve seen some express sympathy for what’s going on. (I don’t understand sympathy for corruption and lies and those who cover it up.🤔) This is a false equivalency… compassion that does not require truth. Have no sympathy for any group, party, or culture that propagate a lie to achieve an end. Satan is the father of lies and always justifies the means to an end. For years we have appealed to heaven for EXPOSURE and JUSTICE, now the Ax is being laid to the root of the trees (Plural). I don’t recommend coming between the Ax and the tree. Be careful showing false compassion on what God Himself is cutting down. At the height of the renewal that was taking place under the reign of King Josiah, King Josiah made the mistake of coming between the Ax (Pharaoh Neco of Egypt) and the tree (Assyria). II Chron. 35:20-24. It did not turn out well for righteous King Josiah. The Lord is working on your behalf wether you realize it or not. Don’t buy into the hatred they have for the instrument that the Lord is using. Don’t rail against the Ax for doing its job.🤔
“Father, give us wisdom to navigate in the season of the Ax. This is your doing and it is a wonderment to behold. In the name of Jesus… Amen!” Pastor Rusty.
