Acts 2:17-18 (KJV) 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
God desires for you to experience Him, not religion, not theological knowledge, but for you to experience Him. Adam experienced walking in the garden talking to the Father, not because of all the knowledge Adam had but because it was a relationship. You can’t have a relationship if it is one sided. It takes two. Moses had a relationship with God that knowledge didn’t bring him. Moses had a heart to heart relationship between him and God. For “the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend” (Exod.33:11) .
All the theological knowledge in the world will not give you the status of being a friend of God, you must have a relationship with Him. ♥️
As God continues to pour out His spirit upon us, drink Him in. Learn to be a child in His presence. Learn what pleases Him then keep doing it.
Oh what joy it would be to be called God’s friend.
